On June 21st, the CandyCoin network experienced a fork. It was caused in part by a network outage affecting the pool, which resulted in two distinct blockchains being created. We are working to cleanup the network and get it back online, as a result of this the CandyCoin seed nodes and the pool have been taken offline until the blockchain fork is resolved.
We expect the network fully operational again by June 24th. The foundation members have discussed at length on how to prevent this issue from reoccurring in the future and measures have begun to solve this problem and prevent similar events from occurring again in the future.
More information coming soon and an announcement as to when the network is back to fully operational status will be posted on Twitter.
